Purpose: To perform an advanced version of Organ Region Decongestion Exercises Stage 1 to rid the liver region of congested fluids.
Schedule: Perform Organ Region Decongestion Exercise Stages 8 and 9 together as a set. This set of exercises should be performed only if you are flexible enough to comfortably execute the hand positions and exercise movements as laid out in the instructions. If you are not quite ready yet, simply proceed to the Organ Region Mobility Exercises and return here at a later date. This exercise set should be performed on two separate days.
Start: Begin by lying flat on your back, using a folded towel to support your neck if needed.
Step 1: Place your left and right hands as follows:
Left Hand: position behind your back and underneath your right ribcage.
Right Hand: place over your right ribcage to cover your liver.
Step 2: Gently fold and compress the ribcage with your right hand moving towards your left hand.
Step 3: Continue the gentle movements for three minutes while breathing normally.
Step 4: The liver is a huge organ and sizes tend to vary from person to person. Move your top and bottom hands to slightly different positions and repeat Steps 2 and 3.
End: You may feel slightly bent to the right side after this treatment. Perform the Core Pump three times in the liver region.
Observe: Feel the increase in the amount of air you can draw into your right side. Also notice the improvement in the ease and balance of your gait.
Progress: Continue on to Organ Region Decongestion Exercise Stage 9.
