WARNING! Kidney problems are one of the main causes of high blood pressure. If your kidney functions improve, it is likely that the dosage of your blood pressure medications will need to be modified. Check your blood pressure regularly, and consult your doctors, nurses, and pharmacists as needed regarding these medications.
Purpose: To squeeze the left kidney region like a sponge so that congested fluid is released and circulation improves.
Schedule: Perform Organ Region Decongestion Exercise Stages 1 - 4 together in one session.
Start: Begin by lying flat on your back, using a folded towel to support your neck if needed.
Step 1: Place your left and right hands as follows:
Left Hand: position behind your back, underneath and below the left ribcage to form a firm base.
Right Hand: place over the lower margin of the left ribcage.
Step 2: Press your right hand down towards your left hand until a firm contact is established.
Step 3: Breathe comfortably in and out five times.
Step 4: Press your right hand down a little further, and breathe in and out five times again. Continue to press further in with your right hand as comfort allows.
End: When you have gone as far as you can, stop and rest.
Observe: Notice improved breathing, better posture, and increased comfort at the left knee.
